Frequently Asked Questions

1. How does it work?

A Team Captain can register for a team to be part of the league. We can only cater for a limited number of teams each season, so first come first serve. We charge a $100 registration fee so that there is a level of commitment from the Team Captain (and the team) to make it work.

A team can consist of as many players as you wish. However, within a sanctioned game, the following format will be used:
– 2 Men vs 2 Men
– 2 Women vs 2 Women
– Mixed (1 man, 1 woman) vs Mixed

This means, you will need to provide for at least 4 people from your team (consisting of 2 men and 2 women) to be able to play the sanctioned game.

Once the game is finished, one of the Team Captains can upload the score on the portal. Once the score is reported, the platform will automatically calculate rankings, UPR and so on.

2. What are the commitments?

Every team is expected to play a sanctioned match and upload the score once a week. You do not need the same players to play week after week. As mentioned above, you can recruit as many players as you wish to fulfil the commitment.

3. What if I can’t get enough players to play for a particular week?

For the enjoyment of everyone participating in this league, every team is required a level of commitment and accountability. In the event that your team cannot fulfil a sanctioned game for the week then your team score will be forfeited for the week and your opponent will be declared the winner with the score assumption of 6-0 of each match.
